  Safaga camp for upper Egypt governorates on how to follow up and monitor the electoral process under the auspices of El-Sadat

The Sadat Association for Development and Social Welfare organized an camp for a number of upper Egypt governorates, including Qena and Luxor, on how to follow up and monitor the electoral process. This comes within the framework of the activities of the project to enhance the political and civic participation of youth in Egypt, which is implemented by the Sadat Association for Development and Social Welfare under the auspices of the German ifa Institution. “Supported with German Federal Foreign Office’s, funds by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen), Funding programme zivik”


 The session dealt with the importance of forming local groups that are able to monitor and follow up elections (local election observation) as an essential part of democratic development indicating that it is a vital process that guarantees and confirms the transparency and integrity of the electoral process. The event activities also stressed and focused on the mechanism of monitoring and following up the elections as a very necessary and effective tool so that everyone can be assured of the integrity, impartiality and integrity of the electoral process. 

 In light of these international challenges, considerations of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic and the endeavors of the governments of the countries of the world and citizens of different nationalities to restore normal life routine. El-Sadat Association has been successfully organized the activities as per the Egyptian ministry of health regulations as well as WHO guidelines. The masks, alcohol, and face protector were distributed to the participants and the working team as the venue was safely and effectively satirized.
