Tahrir Lounge organized a workshop titled “Democratic Beginnings and Citizenship Foundations” for 60 male and female youth. The activities’ aims were to enhance the youth’s role during the democratic transition in Egypt by way of understanding the basis of democracy and a system of good governance, and to also strengthen the foundations and principles of active citizens in order to establish an environment of active citizenship and tolerance.
