The project "Strengthening the rule of law in Egypt during its democratization" in Tanta, Gharbia conducted a discussion group dealing with the political concepts and terminologies related to rule of law on Sunday, May 27, 2012., where Dr. Baligh Hamdy (Law Professor, Tanta University) explained the most important political and legal terms relating to the concept of the rule of law. The workshop was attended by 65 lawyers from the ones participating in the project from Tanta. There were questions from the attendees about the nature of the Constituent Assembly, ways of drafting constitutions, how important it is to conduct a referendum on the draft constitution, and the essential democracy standards needed for writing a civilian constitution expressing all the citizens
