The Sadat Association for Social Development and Welfare.  held a number of trainings in the governorate of Qena, which varied between focus group discussions  and awareness-raising sessions, for the youth. Besides, the project activities came out by designing an initiate by project participants of youth. The designed initiative focused to "establish and develop a media follow-up center for the upcoming elections" under the supervision of a number of qualified consultants. This comes within the framework of the activities of the project to enhance political and civic participation of youth in Egypt, which is implemented by the Sadat Association for Development and Social Development and Welfare under the auspices of the German ifa Institution. “Supported with German Federal Foreign Office’s,  funds by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen), Funding programme zivik”

This initiative comes to increase awareness in the governorates of Upper Egypt as to introduce the elections and the importance of positive participation in their activities. Referring to and focusing on the importance of establishing and developing “a media follow-up center for the upcoming elections” that monitors, analyzes, participates and motivates citizens on the need for electoral entitlements to come out at a decent level that reflects positive participation and concern for the future of the nation. Design work initiative team includes a 14 women/girl. On the other hand, sadly the governorates of Upper Egypt in general are famous for some negative habits and traditions that limits, restricts and even forbidden the participation of women in general life, but women were able to overcome this barrier within the activities of the project as shown, which raises enhances the success of the project, adding other and new positive factors as a positive side-effect of implementing the project.

In light of these international challenges, considerations of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic and the endeavors of the governments of the countries of the world and citizens of different nationalities to restore normal life routine. El-Sadat Association has been successfully organized the activities as per the Egyptian ministry of health regulations as well as WHO guidelines. The masks, alcohol, and face protector were distributed to the participants and the working team as the venue was safely and effectively satirized.
